Iris's Diary

A leather-bound book with gilt-edged pages, it is warded heavily enough that attempting to open it would, for someone who isn’t Iris, be a difficult process.

On the inside cover, words are written in a heavy, Merovingian hand: “To my dearest daughter, Iris.” By contrast, the text within the actual pages of the diary is written in a much lighter hand, with flowing, elegant, and precise text.
